We are a family-run metalwork company specialising in handcrafted bespoke designer metalwork near you. We are traditional and contemporary blacksmiths, with all the benefits of a modern fabrication workshop helping us to produce high-quality functional and decorative metal work efficiently. Our metalwork is of high quality and competitively priced. With over thirty years of experience, we are a skilled team of designers and makers with experience problem solving and designing solutions for a catalogue of past clients. Our diverse skills and machinery give us the ability to work efficiently and creatively in mild steel, stainless, aluminium, copper, and wrought iron.
Artmetal expanded in 2021
Now from our own expansive premises in Mid Wales we can undertake a variety of projects at one time and have the capacity for multiple large-scale projects we now know we can fit two 16 metre bridges in our new workshop comfortably! From our recently expanded business premises, now with our own in-house spray shop, purpose built forge fabrication and cutting areas we can undertake a variety of skill based projects involving aspects of forged work, fabrication, restoration and production.
Artmetal from The Midlands to Mid Wales
We continue to cover projects across our ‘native’ Worcestershire, and neighbouring counties of Warwickshire, Herefordshire, and Shropshire and since 2021 the entire of Wales as we continue to grow our client base also nationally. In 2022 we carried out work that was displayed at Blenheim Palace and Kew Gardens, travelled to Edinburgh Botanical Gardens, Bognor Regis, London, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire amongst others. Many of our garden products, pond covers, arches, and seating can be made to measure from templates where necessary, fitted by ourselves, or sent via courier or pallet. Our recent projects have included works for Events at Blenheim Palace, Kew Gardens, and Edinburgh Botanical Gardens, as well as private commissions large and small for private homes.
We are experienced blacksmiths combining fabrication and craft skills working to provide bespoke solutions for customers across domestic, commercial, industrial, heritage, ecclesiastical, and public art fields.
We are happy to provide advice on planned projects and explain the process we would follow from survey, design, and quotation.
If you are able to send photographs and rough measurements of your proposed work this will assist us in our initial evaluation of the project. In many cases, we will carry out a site survey before providing a quotation for you.
Many items can be made and sent by courier or pallet. Where specialist fitting is required, we will carry out installation.
